Hello again! Ticket sales in kideapp have been hectic since the happenings are upon us after a long wait and everybody wants to get their tickets to everything. If buying tickets has been stressful do not worry because now you can get for example the MAJA products without a hurry there (at least for now). II Coming Up

Otatarha Grand Prix 30.9.

The last day of September, the day of the Lakinlaskijaiset is once again started with the Otatarha Grand Prix: Grand Theft Alvari, a competition that doesn’t lack speed or danger! Skip the petty crime and come find out who will get to dominate the Otaniemi underworld.

Challenge yourself and others, design and build the greatest human powered vehicle and come and compete for the win of the race at Alvarinaukio! Points will be awarded for the vehicle’s aesthetics and speed, but also for the overall spirit of the team. The winners of the race will receive glorious prizes, so start preparing for the contest NOW!

Even if you don’t participate in the race, you should come to Alvarinaukio to enjoy the stunning race atmosphere and the beautiful autumn day. Besides the race course the area will be filled with other fun activities!

RoaringKiima 3.11.

You have heard it right, the 1920s is back on 3.11.! Come dancing, singing or other imaginative ways to Smökki, home of the endless parties. Surrounded by gold and glamour, you can dance to the beat of live music, raise a toast, spin the roulette wheel and many other things: only sky is the limit! Don’t hesitate to come and enjoy the wonderful party. The memorable evening is organized by Ark’20!

Introductory sailing trips of Teekkaripurjehtijat

Interested in sailing? Would you like to get a try? Come to TRIP’s free introductory sailings on 21.9. and 29.9.! Registration for the introductory sailings is already open on TRIP’s webpage. There are limited number of places and the places will be filled in the order of registration. Registration: https://trip.ayy.fi/wordpress/?page_id=200.

The introductory sailings are especially intended for new students and others interested in our activities who are not yet members of TRIP. Introductory sailing is free and can be attended without previous sailing experience. Sailings are usually arranged in the evenings and often include a first mate in addition to the skipper. The sailing can accommodate 4 people at a time. Boat raises the sails and spins in nearby waters for a few hours. Landing on an island or in Suomenlinna is often part of an introductory sailing program. Introductory sails will be held in the evenings, the meeting by boat is usually around 5pm. The skippers will send more detailed instructions to the participants by e-mail.
