Election heat! The year is coming to its end and it is time to elect new people to run the Guild. Elective meeting of Guild of Architecture is on the 20th of November, 12.00. The meeting elects the President of the Guild 2016, 12 board members and quite a few other actives.

Annual ball of the AA-club
The AA-club invites all the lovely architecture and information network students to celebrate the traditional annual ball of the AA-club! This sitsit will not lack in beauty nor glamour, so pick up your most stylish dress/suit and come to make these sitsit unforgettable!
It is possible to present a greeting for the IE:s, so if you want to present one, please announce it in the sign up. It is sufficient that one person announces each greeting.
The afterparty´s location will be announced later.

TOKYO Christmas sales
Student Association TOKYO of Aalto ARTS will bring christmas spirit to Arabia, as the Christmas Sales are organized on 27th to 29th of November in Media Center Lume. The Christmas sales are an annual tradition, which gives the students an opportunity to sell their art works and products.
Once again the Christmas Sales will be filled with over 200 sellers, so a wide selection of art works is guaranteed!
The sales will start on Friday 27th at 12 o’clock and lasts until Sunday 6pm. During the weekend you’ll have the perfect opportunity to find the most exceptional presents and new art, design and handcrafts.
107th Wähäjoulu
The Guild of Architecture celebrates its 107th annual ball, Wähäjoulu, in Kellohalli on Saturday, the 5th of December 2015.
HOX! The registration opens on the 11th of November at 12:00 and ends on the 23th of November.

Shadow Independence Day Reception
Did you not receive an invitation to the President’s Independence Day Reception even though you think you would have certainly deserved one? Do not worry, as you can celebrate Finland’s independence in the great company while waiting for the invitation!
AYY’s Community Section Aava invites all AYY’s members to the traditional Shadow Independence Day Reception at Yläkertsi in KY Building on 6 Dec 2015! We provide a delicious three-course menu, incredible company and certainly more drinks than what is offered at the real Independence Day reception. If you don’t want to miss out the traditional reviewing of dresses, don’t worry, you don’t have to. In order to ensure a genuine Independence Day atmosphere, you can watch the Independence Day reception on the screen while having the dinner!

Aalto University Student Union has declared open the positions of student representatives in administration (hallopeds) for the year of 2016. Student representatives are needed for the university organs, such as the Academic Committee, Student Financial Aid Committee and the Restaurant Committee, as well as the University’s management and degree programmes. Whether you are interested in power, quality of the development of teaching, as a student representative you can have influence on the operations of the major organisation and make Aalto a better place!
Smökrök 2015
The darkness of november shall retreat now that PELMU (organization for live music) is going to rock Smökki on wednesday 25.11. in a way that, for example Iron Maiden hasn’t yet done! During the event a handful of PELMU’s own bands will get to the stage and the night will end with the magnificent Akystik! The genres vary from 80s metal to more light pop/rock, so there’s something for everyone.
Come enjoy the live music with your friends! The event is also a perfect chance to get to know PELMU and it’s members better! The board of PELMU will be present and we’re glad to tell you more about how to get either your band to practise at PELMU, on the stage or join us and get into organizing these events next year!
Oikosulku 2015
Prepare for the most baffling party of the year!
Organized by Freshmen, Oikosulku does not take inspiration from other parties, but instead will remain distinctive, to the level that the theme of the party itself is an enigma. So, be prepared for anything. (especially around midnight!)
The coolest and the shyest are encouraged to wear the most mysterious mask they can get their hands on!
