Humans vs Zombies Otaniemi
The zombies are at it again!
The popular game of Humans vs. Zombies will return this May. Use your cunning and teamwork to survive the rapidly spreading infection, or hunt down your friends as part of the horde!
The game will be played at the Otaniemi campus area from May 5th to May 9th.
Humans vs. Zombies is a moderated game of tag where zombie players try to spread the infection by tagging human players. Humans can in turn protect themselves by hiding, fleeing or fighting back (using clean socks or foam gun darts to ”stun” zombies). Exciting missions and quests will be available every day. The game is fun and interactive. Since teamwork is often the best strategy players are guaranteed to meet new people.
Teekkaritanssit – Traditional May Dance evening for students
On May 6th there will be a traditional Finnish ”lavatanssi” evening in Smökki, starting at 7 pm. The cost of the event is 3 euros, including dance lessons and some snacks.
No dance partner or previous knowlegde is needed! There will be a live band present.
Teekkari Village clean up
Academic year was here, let’s clean up!
Let’s make Otaniemi clean and fresh again on Thu 7.5. at 3 PM. Join the work party with your friend and gather the ugly trash from our living surroundings! The Village senate provides the cleaning equipment, rakes and gloves and whatnot. The cleaning will start on Smökki courtyard’s wooden terrace (Jämeräntaival 4) and nearby trash containers. Sauna will be warm for the participants in Rantasauna at 7pm., where also free food and drinks will be served!
Fix the Guild Cottage
Join your Guild members for a fun weekend at the Guild Cottage and come and help with fixing the place! There will be food and a warm sauna for all participants!
AK & IK Friendship sitsit
Springtime is blossoming and it’s time to celebrate it with friends! And, as you all know, there’s no better way to do that than by throwing a sitsit party! So get your party clothes ready, bring a friend and prepare to be taken away by the party spirit. There are 50 places reserved for both Guilds (Architecture and Civil Engineering).

Nuoret Designerit ry a.k.a. NuDe is hosting ARTSITSIT with the theme Southern Exotic. You don’t want to miss out on the best party of this spring! This is a great possibility to get all pumped up about the coming summer and meet other Arts students.
The event starts off with cocktails and the sits begins at 19.00. The price of the sits includes a three course meal as well as drinks to go with it. And don’t forget about our dress code: Exotic Coctail!

Smökki Voluntary Work Day
Last year we accomplished the Rantasauna terrace with work done by cooperating voluntary people! This year Smökki surroundings need some severe trimming!
Two weeks after wappu we’ll get to work. Our mission is to clean up the surroundings from trash and unpleasant bushes. In addition to this we might be constructing something new… Stay tuned!
