Call for student representatives 30.11.

Call for student representatives for the year 2023 is open!⭐️

Are you interested in advocacy and influencing at university? As a student representative you can make an impact and ensure that the students’ voices get heard in the decision making of Aalto University or your Programme. In principle, all undergraduate and doctoral students of Aalto University are eligible to apply. Representation from different fields of expertise or study, and the stage of the candidates’ studies, are taken into consideration when making the selection.

Call for student representatives in administration is open until 30 Nov. There are more than 200 vacancies and you can have influence at the level of degree programmes.

[AK] Guild’s annual ball: 114th Wähäjoulu 5.12.

You are most welcome to the 114th annual jubilee of the Guild of Architecture on December 5.

The dinner ticket is 75 € for students and 100 € for graduates. The nighttime swim costs 15 € and the herring breakfast 15 €. The dinner ticket includes the cocktail function, jubilee dinner and afterparty.

In order to make a purchase in kide.app, you need to register as a user. We recommend registering in good time before the ticket sales begin, in order to avoid any unexpected delays. All attending, including plus ones, need to purchase a ticket separately.

We offer free bus trips to the first 10 applicants. We will publish a form for this in the Arkitehtikilta TG on Wednesday 30.11 at 12:00! If you couldn’t manage to get any of the free tickets, you can buy your own tickets for the same bus or come to Porvoo with your own vehicle. However, in this case, make sure you still register to the second form for those arranging transport themselves by Sat 3.12. We have a little surprise for all participants. We meet in Kamppi (Kamppikeskus Narinkka 1) at 09:50. We go by Onnibus M7 at 10:05 and arrive in Porvoo at 10:55. The events organized in Porvoo on 11.12 include: – Traditional Porvoo Christmas market (Old town hall square) from 10 am to 4 pm – Old-time Christmas market (VPK fire station, Kirkkokatu 2) from 10 am to 4 pm – Porvoo Art Factory’s Christmas market (Lähtinen Aleksanterinkatu 1) from 10 am to 4 pm – Christmas at Runeberg’s home (Aleksanterinkatu 3) from 10 am to 4 pm We also thought that it would be possible to tour the old town either independently or with a guide. There is no common lunch, so eat independently, according to your own schedule! We gather for the return departure at 16:30 at the Porvoo bus station on Lundinkatu 9 A. We head back to Helsinki on the Onnibus (M7) leaving at 16:50 and arrive back in Kamppi at 17:40. Remember to dress warmly and according to the weather!
