FRESHMEN PARTY
| The ARTS Freshmen Party consists of a checkpoint competition around Väre as well as an afterparty of course! The goal is to learn how the maze of Väre functions as well as to meet other awesome students of ARTS. In addition, several associations are present, so if you haven’t got to know them all yet, now is your chance!
So grab a few friends and come explore what the Väre building has eaten. We guarantee loads of fun and new friends are awaiting! Please arrive early as the checkpoints starts 6pm sharp! The checkpoint maps and point cards are handed out from Väre O/J side Working Cafe from 17:45 onwards. P.S. Of course there will also be an afterparty! This fall, the sports committee organizes Healthyappro, during which nine different sports associations present themselves by organizing nine different sports events. These events will be organized starting from September and lasting until November and after every event, there will also be a possibility for the participants to hangout with the other participants and representatives of the sports associations and enjoy a warm sauna as well as free snacks! ROBOT UPRISING 2019
| We would love to see you at Robot Uprising hackathon on 11 – 13.10.2019.
Robot Uprising is a story driven robotics hackathon that takes place in Kattilahalli, Helsinki. We have tuned the whole venue into a techno dystopian alternate universe. Your goal is to build a robot and program it to survive through a large maze with as much automation as possible. You can add your own parts to your robot too so you are not limited to the kit provided by us. You don’t need to have any special robotics experience, we will help and guide you through this fun filled hackathon! As our Track Automatisation specialist Perttu says; ”Whatever your level is, Robot Uprising bumps you up one more!” Most schools give credits for participating in Robot Uprising too.
