WEEKLY DIGEST 16/23

Hello and a great start of October!

Halloween month is here, so get ready for some chilly vibes (jokes aside – the weather is getting pretty cold this week if we trust the forecast). This week the AYY´s RepCo elections´candidate sign-up got closed, so stay tuned for the voting! At least two of our beloved guild members have participated to be part of the representative council, so let´s wish them good luck. This week is also culture committee´s Movie Night at Guild´s Cabin where there´s going to be showing of beloved Ghibli movies. I sadly cannot participate this time, but I hope you all who are going there have a great evening! Also, we got first glimpse of what Kiima is going to look like later in this fall. Very exciting!

Stay warm and remember to wear reflectors!

Sincerely,

Moby

Answer survey on the European Degree label

Shape the future of European higher education by completing a survey on the European Degree label!

The joint European Degree label aims to make it easier for universities to work together to create joint degree programmes and to enable European students to embark on a transnational, cross-cultural educational journey. The European Degree is created for students, so it must be shaped by students. Make your voice heard and answer the survey by 22 October.

You can respond to the survey here.

Your planet Earth has been chosen as the study site from a number of candidates because the most cognitively advanced species on the planet, you, homo sapiens, have shown throughout your existence an interest in this kind of activity on the planet, causing the sixth wave of planetary extinction on your own and consciously making your own habitat unlivable by your choices.

Our aim is to explore the extreme limits of the environment and of the human species by creating various simulations of dreadful life and suffering, and thus to find a point of discomfort that does not yet lead to total extinction, but to a total breaking of the defenses and weakness of all living things, to a state of psyche that is unpredictable and malleable.

Welcome and thank you for your participation in the first phase of the experiment: DYSTOPIA👁‍🗨
