AK x PT: Hankifutis! / Snow footy! 21.2.

Snow footy? WTF?

Football in the snow!

Finns are known for all kinds of crazy sports, and we assure you this is nothing less! Because we don’t have swamps in the winter, we use the snowbanks. Snow footy is great for everyone – it’s quite tough but there really isn’t skill cap so anyone interested is more than welcome to try out this!

After the games we’ll head to Ossi’s sauna where you can go to sauna – so bring your towel as well! Sauna is BYOB, i.e. bring your own beer.

You’ll want to wear warm clothes to the football; warm socks and winter shoes (keep in mind you are running in the snowbanks), as waterproof pants and coat as possible and make sure to wear proper underwear. Good clothes are, for example, your typical downhill skiing clothes.

WHAT? Snow football
WHERE? Sports field of Otaniemi (right next to UniSport), afterworks at Ossi’s sauna
WHEN? Wednesday the 21th, starting at 16.00
ELSE? Wear good winter clothes!
