Kannunvalajat & the Guild of Construction Architecture & the Guild of Architecture presents: Good vs Bad goes to Hogwarts on Saturday 22nd October at Smökki. The sitsit costs 17/15 euros (with/without alcohol). The cocktail event starts at 18.00 and we will seat ourselves to tables at 19.00. The afterparty starts at 23.00. Remember to take your student card with you, if you’re only coming to the after party. Tickets can be bought here.

Wed 5.10. The release party coffee for the Black songbook
Now you can get them! First time published, the Architect students’ song book made together with architect students in Tampere, Oulu and Otaniemi, is finally here! This book is an updated version of the Guild of Architecture’s last song book. Come and get your own ”Architect student’s Black” at Miestentie cafeteria on Wednesday 5.10. at 12.30. You can also grab a coffee and some snacks there. The song book costs 6 euros so if you want to buy one, take cash with you. Be there or be (a black) square.

Wed 5.10. KIIMA
KIIMA returns again, hotter and brighter than ever! Now is the time to release your inner (or former) teen and party at Smökki without fear that the police pour out your illicit cider, or your mother gets angry. Come as you were, or get inspired by ”them damn youths”. Were you an emo, jock, or prep, the architecture students bid you and your acne-ridden friends warmly welcome to the best party of the year! Heating up the party, #SWAGSWAGNAMNAM and DJ MOSHFUNK. Tickets priced at 3€ in advance and 4€ at the door!

Fri 7.10. Otakeila: Hackday
Are you interested in the future cityscape of Otaniemi and surroundings, and the future of visualizing architecture? If so, this is an event you don’t want to miss! On Friday, October 7th, together with Microsoft, Fira, Deeptale, Trimble, and Peter Vestbacka, the Guild of Architecture is organizing a Hackday, where students will have a possibility to make conceptual plans for Otaniemi and Keilaniemi and try out visualizing architecture with hologram technology. The plans will be modelled with Sketchup and shown with Hololens hologram technology.

7.-12.11.2016 Teekkari tradition week
”Teekkari”-tradition turns 144 this year and this is celebrated for an entire week on Teekkari tradition week 7-12.11. During the week you can put your Teekkari-knowledge to the test in the Teekkaripeli game, create new drinking songs and perform them on the Song competition sitsit and conquer Helsinki on the Polin Appro bar crawl! Polin appro is arranged on Wednesday 9.11 for the fifth time, and to celebrate that, the completely new Dipolin appro is arranged on Wednesday 19.10. The ticket sales for both begins on Tuesday 11.10. The week is taken to completion the 200 person Teekkari tradition party on Saturday 11.11, and the Teekkarisillis-brunch the next day.
