Hello all! The Guild of Architecture´s annual election meeting is just around the corner. Soon we´ll see who are the next year´s actives of the guild! Before that, the wellbeing committee is having a candlemaking evening at Karhusaari on Thursday and on Saturday there´ll be pre-Christmas party of Maja (Pikkujallut) at the Guild´s Cabin. This week the administration´s student representative sign up opened, so everyone who is interested in studies and student advocacy see the link below. Apply to be the administration’s student representative for 2024
Make the student’s voice heard and become the administration’s student representative, or halloped, for the year 2024!
As a student representative, you can bring the student’s voice to the decision-making of Aalto University or your degree program. All undergraduate or postgraduate students attending Aalto University are eligible to apply. The application is open on 30.11. until.

Vote on how we spend 13,000 euros
From the beginning of autumn 2023, the students were given ideas on how the university should use 13,000 euros to improve the well-being of students on campus. Now is the time to vote for the best idea to be implemented during the spring of 2024. Vote for the best idea by 30 November 2023 here !
Apply to be an AYY volunteer or for a position of trust
AYY’s volunteer application for 2024 has started! Are you spoken to by divisions and committees or other types of positions of trust in the student union?
You can now apply to all of these: Community section Aava with its committees, Teekkari section with committees, Campus section, Museum section and committee, EduJory executive committee for the monitoring of interests, Financial Board, Chair of the Study Council (OPN), Board of the Teekkari Activities Promotion Fund (TTER), Honorary Committee, Recognition Committee and Continuity Committee.
Previously opened applications for AYY’s board of directors, board members, chairman of the representative board and vice-chairmen of the representative board are also still open!

Last Chances to Apply for Energy Linkage and HealthTech Linkage
Interested in the energy or health tech field?
Take this unique opportunity for a deep-dive into the industry of your interest! In addition to lectures, both courses consists of innovation challenges and social activities, where you’ll work and network with experts from the field and like-minded students from Aalto and University of Helsinki. The courses are worth 10 ECTS each, are open to all masters students of Aalto University and the University of Helsinki, and run from mid January to mid April 2024. Application deadline 15.11.

Join us for a hands-on workshop where you’ll explore the art of screen printing using natural colors on your own cloth or textile item. No prior experience is required!
What: Natural Color Printing Workshop hosted by Softislab
When: Saturday, December 9th, from 10 AM to 4 PM
Where: Välitila Studio in Roihupelto (Laippatie 15, Helsinki)
