Spring in the Guild of Architecture has been crazy intense and cheerful! That’s why we want to thank all guild officials and invite you to come and hangout in ARTS Terde on Monday 6th of May! There will be food, good company and groovy music!

TEMAL EXCURSION AND VEGETARIAN BRUNCH

Temal wants to offer the members of our guild a vegetarian brunch the 9th of May. The brunch will take place at their facilities in the city centre from 10 to 12. In addition we’ll hear about the problems of bathroom design and get more information about the Habitare fair. The signup opens on 26.4. at 12. The link for the signup will be posted here later. The event will be held in Finnish.

AK-IK FAMILY AND FRIEND SITSIT

Welcome to the relative and friend sitsit of the Guilds of Architecture and Civil Engineers!

On Friday the 10 of May it’s time to gather with old and new friends and relatives at Servin Mökki. Bring your friends and family and show them the sitsi-culture in the heart of Otaniemi. There will be good food, drinks and singing. The sitsit start with cocktails at 18.30 and the sitsit will begin at 19.00.
There are 160 places, 40 for each guild. Each guild member may bring one avec.
If all the spots are not filled you may bring additional companions.

The signup opens on Monday the 22nd of April at 12 PM and will be closed on Monday the 6th of May. So grab your friends and family by the hand and sign up! Please note that both you and your friend have to sign up seperately. If you wish to be seated together please mark each other as avecs.

The open afterparty starts at Rantsu at 12 PM.
Please take note that the sitsit and afterparty are for adults only.

AALTO-FESTIVAL: HOOK’19 SEMINAARI

Aalto University School of Arts, Design and Architecture is now in Otaniemi, Espoo. Our intention is to grow a new ecosystem of creative fields on our campus focusing on art, design & media, and cross-disciplinary collaboration to complement the ecosystem of arts and crafts located in Arabia.

Aalto University warmly welcomes you to Dipoli for a day of keynote talks and inspiring discussion. Hook is an annual event focusing on the areal and community development of Aalto University’s campus with its collaborators.

This year, the theme is Towards an Ecosystem of the Creative Fields.

SUSTAINABILITY SCIENCE DAYS

SUSTAINABILITY SCIENCE DAYS 2019 – Mak­ing use of sustainability science

The spring 2019 Sustainability Science Days are to be held on Thu, May 9 – Fri, May 10, 2019. The thematic focus of the Days is on sustainable production and consumption, which is the Sustainable Development Goal # 12 (SDG) where Finland’s performance according to the SDG indicators needs to be considerably improved. During two days this challenge will be approached via scientific debate and popular discussion events. The conference is organized jointly by Helsinki Institute of Sustainability Science (HELSUS) and Aalto Sustainability Hub (ASH).
