Editor-in-Chief
The editor in chief gathers together a group of enthusiastic writers, illustrators and photographers. Together they publish the Guild magazine, Paperi, four times a year. The editor in chief also stays in close touch with the public relations representative and printing offices. According to their personal interests the editor in chief may also participate in writing or illustrating or making the layout for the magazines.

Rector
Rector is responsable of the Coffee Breaks with the Guild and of the relaxation of the party committee. Rector is naturally also selected to be a member of the party committee themselves.

Brewing Team
The Brewing team consists of older and newer brewers. Together they brew for example punch to the traditional Wappu Punch for all the guild members to enjoy. The older members of the team teach the art of brewing to the newbies by the year.

Songleaders
The responsibilities of the songleaders include leading the singing at sitsit-parties as well as preserving and developing the Guild’s singing culture. Loud voice, reasonable memory preserve and a knack for performing in front of others are very beneficial for a songleader. The master songleader coordinates the songleaders of the Guild, making sure every sitsit has a songleader.

Sports Responsibles
The Responsible of Sports, with the assistance of Sports Minions, organizes all kinds of different and interesting sports events for Guild members, such as climbing tryouts, football and ice hockey games and other game nights.

Culture Responsibles
The Responsible for Culture, with the assistance of Culture Minions, takes care of the cultural needs of the Guild members by organizing different kinds of events. During the past few years, there has been ballet visits, stand up, movie nights, wine and cheese evenings, modern circus, photography exhibitions and theatre visits.

Documenters
The documenters take photos of the events of the Guild and share them with others. The events include mostly sitsit parties but lots of other events too and why not ordinary school days too. The documenter has to actively participate in different events. Basic camera using skills are enough and you don’t have to own some fancy camera. You can also document the events by drawing, writing or in any way you can imagine!

Website developer
The website developer maintains and updates the website of the Guild. They also help other guild officials with using the website. Anyone interested in the topic can apply for the job, this can be your chance to familiarize yourself with developing websites. Experienced website wizards are also warmly welcome within the Guild!

Social media star
Do you speak fluent Facebook, Snapchat and Instagram? Have you grown attached to your smartphone? The social media star is responsible for actively posting snapshots of the Guild’s activities to different kinds of social media. This is your chance to harness your natural social media skills for everyone’s good!

Minister for the Environment
The Minister for the Environment makes sure that the Guild aches to be more sustainable today than it was yesterday. The Minister has for example taken care about recycling, organized environment themed events and come up with new, greener ideas and policies and integrated them into the Guild’s culture. Therefore one of the most valued skills of the Minister for the Environment must be the ability to co-operate with as many different Guild Actives as possible.

Excursion Master
Would you like to arrange excursions to architectural offices or interesting public buildings or new housing areas or beautiful landscape architecture sites? Excursion Master is the post for you! You can freely decide what kind of excursions you want to arrange based on your own liking and the Guild members’ wishes.

MAIK Representatives
MAIK ry is the organisation for land surveyor, architect, landscape architect, building technology, environmental technology and energy technology students. The board consists of representatives from the three guilds that represent these fields of study. There will be three representatives from each guild. The organisation arranges yearly at least a cruise, a sitsit party and a starting weekend for the year in the end of summer. At the same time, you will get to know other students in fields that are close to architecture and landscape architecture. MAIK turns 50 in 2018, so a crazy year is guaranteed.

PR Assistants
Assistants to the public relations representative help in finding sponsors for example to the Guild Magazine and the annual ball Wähäjoulu. They also help in arranging excursions.

Responsible for Rentals
The Responsible for Rentals makes sure that the whole Aalto community gets to enjoy the Guild’s rentals. The Responsible for Rentals is someone who is good at organizing things and wants to take a small task as a guild active.

Ride Master
The Ride Master gathers guild members to build the best rides for events like Shrove Tuesdays downhill race.

Mechanic
The Mechanic takes care of the Guild’s vehicles, such as Sauna in Transit and the trailer. Oily hands and knowledge of the handcrafts is beneficial but the most important is to have an enthoustiastic attitude!

Viking
The Guild’s Viking acts as the right hand of the Foreign Legion Captain and assists in welcoming the new international students and arranging events in the international sector. Viking is responsible for the Guild’s Nordic collaboration. Together with the FLC, Viking manages the relationships with our partner guild’s in Sweden with the aim to develop and expand the collaboration. The post of Viking doesn’t require any special language skills. Just interest in internationality is enough.

Gardener
The Gardener has an important role in the spatial team as they are responsible for the guild’s allotment garden at Ossinlampi. The Gardeners most important tasks are to re-rent, maintain and develop the allotment. The task is quite seasonal, but includes a lot of different things to do for the one interested in gardening!

Spatial Team
The Spatial Team is responsible for the guild room, maintaining and developing the space. An important part of the task is creating new development ideas and executing the best of those ideas. If you enjoy your time at the Paja and like making things with your hands, you are likely to find yourself in this task. The space has developed a lot in the past years, what will be coming next?

Pine Cone Host and Hostess
The Pine Cone Host and Hostess organize sitsit parties and other fun stuff for students who have studied more than three years!
