Where we once went<\/a> sends Kannunvalajat and the Guild of Architecture once again on an adventure around Helsinki city! Mixed teams will be sped up with a bottle of culture, so just follow the map and be prepared to have fun! The journey begins by the Parliament house and will reach its climax at an after-party at the New Student House (Uusi ylioppilastalo). Put on your overalls and come and get to know amazing people across disciplines!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Guild Coffee with WSP<\/h3>\n

Join for a coffee on Thursday<\/a>, on April 9th, between 11 and 13 in Miestentie 3 and learn more about the company WSP. In addition, there will be a unique opportunity to participate in the planning process of the future of Vallisaari Island. Come and hear more about the project on Thursday!<\/p>\n

Mosaic Running Dinner<\/h3>\n

Running Dinner<\/a> is a concept of cooking, meeting people and partying in the end. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a three-course meal while meeting 12 new people during one evening, only for a price of the meal you cook. In teams of two, participants prepare one dish, either an appetizer, main dish or dessert, and enjoy the rest of the dinner at two different places. There is no admission fee, but every team should aim to spend approximately 16 \u20ac on their course, drinks not included. <\/span><\/p>\n

BEST Helsinki Cantus<\/h3>\n

The traditional Belgian beer festival<\/a> in Sm\u00f6kki on 17.4! With the admission fee you are permitted to 3 hours of unlimited beer&cider while watching misbehavers getting punished in the most imaginable ways in the middle of the circle. Our senior, the leader of the cantus, is flying here from Belgium to guarantee you the most authentic experience in Espoo!<\/span><\/p>\n

Come and check out the most exhilarating and invigorating j\u00e4yn\u00e4s in the lecture hall M on Wednesday 22 April at 3 p.m. ! It will be full of surprises! It’s traditionally been a full house, so arrive early to make sure you fit in.<\/p>\n

The winner of the 28th annual J\u00e4yn\u00e4 Competition as well as the public\u2019s favourite will be announced on 30 April at 1 p.m. as part of Wappurieha announcement from the roof of Sm\u00f6kki.<\/p>\n

Sitsit contest<\/h3>\n

It is time for the traditional sitsi contest<\/a> on Saturday, 25 Apr! In this event, you can let your imagination run wild and execute your wildest sitsi dreams. So gather together a merry group of enthusiastic participants and plan sitsit for your team, including the theme, setting and catering. You have the opportunity to organise the sitsit that you have planned at Alvari Square on 25 Apr, starting at 2pm. A prestigious jury will choose the winners based on the best theme, attitude and implementation. The awards ceremony will take place in connection with the declaration of May Day celebrations on 30 Apr.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

MP3 Experience<\/h3>\n

Join the MP3 Experience<\/a> that has attained an incredible international reputation! This event is definitely something that you have never experienced before.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mosaic will organise this hugely successful event for the 7th time on Monday of the Wappu week, 27 April. The idea is to download a music file (approx. one hour) to your phone or music device, push PLAY simultaneously with the crowd and follow the instructions you hear. The purpose is to attract positive attention, delight other people and have fun in a great group.<\/p>\n

What is going to happen this year? There’s only one way to find out – come and explore the city with us!<\/p>\n

PELMU Wappu Festival<\/h3>\n

What happens, when bands that have been training the whole winter in a windowless basement are unleashed on the number one stage in Otaniemi, in the sparkling crossfire of Teekkarispeksi’s stage lighting? A breathtakingly stunning show that you don’t want to miss! So gather your friends and come to PELMU’s Wappufestival<\/a> in Sm\u00f6kki and let the badass bands of this village amaze you! The event also acts as the official after party for Teekkarijaosto’s Crazy John and is free of charge!<\/p>\n

Otaniemi\u2019s night will be full of silly foolishness of Wappu as Crazy John<\/a> takes place on the 29th April!

As freshmen teams have parted after the starting shot of Y\u00f6j\u00e4yn\u00e4, it\u2019s time to find out who is the craziest, funniest and the most creative group of friends in Otaniemi!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Gather 4-10 people for your team and go on an adventure around Otaniemi to carry out bustling checkpoints and to compete for the title of \u201cthe craziest group of students\u201d.<\/p>\n

The key elements to this competition are the Wappu atmosphere and lively spirit!<\/p>\n

May Day Parade<\/h3>\n

This year, it is AYY’s turn to crown the Manta statue with the student cap and the May Day parade<\/a> will take us closer to May Day and Manta’s crowning ceremony. Please come to Hietalahti Square after the declaration of May Day celebrations on 30 Apr. The parade will be formed at 3.30pm and we hope that you will be there well in advance. The celebration will start at the square and culminate in the parade. Bring yourself and your friends and come to show some May Day spirit!<\/p>\n

Dipoli May Day Party<\/h3>\n

May Day party is approaching, are you ready?!!<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The legendary May Day party<\/a> is organised once again at Dipoli! This year, AIKAKONE and JEREMY FOLDEROL will entertain the party people!<\/p>\n

Don’t be a square, come and crazy party and press the student cap on your head when the clock strucks midnight. In the event, you can also get to know e.g. OtaKaLa. The evening may also include surprises ;-)<\/p>\n
