Hello, I’m Veera and I’m the Publicist for the Guild of Architecture 2022! It’s my first year in the Board of the Guild of Architecture, and my second year of studying landscape architecture in Aalto University. For the Weekly Digest I collect up-to-date information about interesting free time and Guild activities. The job offers are mostly from Finnish architecture firms, and written in Finnish. “<\/span>Good morning and greetings from the athletics committee, also known as AK Sportklubb! I am Iisa (TG @iisamus), and we are together with Minni (TG @dopaminni) and rest of the committee members organizing sports events for architecture students this year. We have planned a lot of fun sporty things to do with you, so you won\u2019t stick on your computers <3<\/span><\/p>\n

Because indoor sports are banned right now and the weather outside is not the best possible for cross-country-skiing, we decided to organize an ice skating event for you. Please, join with us ice skating next Wednesday. Hot chocolate is also served <3<\/span><\/p>\n

Please take your ice skates with you, or rent them from the Ice Garden. And do not forget to take a mug for the hot chocolate. Let\u2019s save the planet.<\/span><\/p>\n

WHAT DOES IT COST: Ice skating is free, but if you need to rent skates, the rent fee is 5 euros per an hour.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Winter Day is here!\u00a0\"\u2603\ufe0f\"<\/span><\/div>\n
Winter Day is a checkpoint crawl for first-year students. The event will be held on Monday 14th Feb in Otaniemi! So gather a group of 6-10 people and come to Alvarin aukio for the grand start at 2.15 pm or 2.30 pm. At the start, checkpoint cards will be distributed and the patch of the event will be sold (in cash). Checkpoints are held by ISOs (tutors) as well as various associations, committees and clubs. Checkpoints are open from 14:30 to 17:30.<\/div>\n
After that, if the situation allows, all the saunas in Otaniemi’s one-time rental premises will open, and they can visit those freely!\u00a0\"🔥\"<\/span>\u00a0The sauna tour is open around 5-9 pm. In addition, there will be an afterparty held in Sm\u00f6kki from 8.30 pm on. The entrance ticket for the afterparty is the overall patch of the event, which is also sold at the door.<\/div>\n
