At the moment Aalto University subscribes Refworks reference management tool but its subscription is ending at the end of this year.<\/span><\/p>\n

This survey aims to find out what reference management tools are used at Aalto University and what kind of future needs there are.<\/span><\/p>\n

Pavilion Of Finland’s exhibition opens in Venice May 20th – Inauguration will be held online<\/strong><\/h5>\n

The 17th International Architecture Exhibition of La Biennale di Venezia, postponed by one year, will open to the public on May 22nd. In conjunction with the Pavilion opening, contents of Finland\u2019s New Standards exhibition will be published online.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Biennale Architettura 2021 will hold its public opening on May 22nd. This year, due to the ongoing uncertainty caused by the pandemic, many national pavilions will hold their opening ceremonies online.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Pavilion of Finland\u2019s exhibition <\/span>New Standards<\/span>, curated by Laura Berger, Philip Tidwell and Kristo Vesikansa, will be inaugurated in an online event on Thursday May 20th at 4:30 pm (CET, 5:30 pm Finnish time) by Minister of Culture and Science Annika Saarikko. More information on the public event will be published in the beginning of May.<\/span><\/p>\n

The themes of the exhibition presenting the story of Puutalo corporation from 1940 to 1955, can already be explored on the dedicated website <\/span>newstandards.info<\/span><\/a>. On the day of the Pavilion opening, extensive material of the exhibition will be published on the site, together with a guided video tour, which makes it possible to visit the exhibition from your own country.<\/span><\/p>\n

Women of Aalto Combining Career and Motherhood<\/strong><\/h5>\n

In the honor of Mother\u2019s Day, Women of Aalto proudly presents: an online panel discussion about combining motherhood and career!<\/span><\/p>\n

The event will be held in Zoom on the 6th of May, from 6pm to 8pm. During the panel discussion our panelists will talk about their own experiences in combining motherhood and work life, how motherhood affects career plans and what kind of inequalities it creates at the workplace.<\/span><\/p>\n
