Dear fellow landscape architecture, interior architecture and architecture students, alumnis and honorary guests,<\/p>\n

It is our utmost pleasure to invite you to celebrate the 30-year journey of Vista ry. Our jubilee gala, Vespertine, will take place on Monday October 7, 2019. The gala is the opening event of the LANDMARK 30 -jubilee week.<\/p>\n

The jubilee gala will start at 18.00 o\u2019clock in the A-wing of Undergraduate Center (Otakaari 1, Espoo). During the evening you\u2019ll hear glorious speeches and see some magnificent performances and you\u2019ll get to enjoy some luscious appetizers and refreshments.<\/p>\n

Dress code for the event is smart casual with academic medals and recognitions.<\/p>\n

Days are getting shorter and shorter\u2026 Luckily our Guilds long-time sponsor Innovarch is hosting an excursion to the members of our Guild. Hop on the bus 550 or 555 and be at Linnoitustie 5, the 9th of October.<\/p>\n

Innovarch is going to tell about their current projects and give us a tour at their facilities and offer some food and drinks. The event is held mostly in Finnish, however all Guild members are welcome to join in. The registration starts the 25th of September at 12 o\u2019clock. The long and hot summer is over\u2026 until hotter than hot October 10th and KIIMA arrives in Otaniemi.<\/p>\n

October is a dark and cold time of the year, but luckily Sm\u00f6kki is on fire. ARK\u201918 offers you a flaming hot evening never seen even close to these latitudes. On 10.10. you don\u2019t have to hide your fake tan or worry about sunburns. CABIN ENHANCEMENT WEEKEND\u00a0<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
Yahoo! the most awaited weekend is here AGAIN! Come and challenge yourself in the mind and body hardening Cabin enhancement weekend! The event takes place from 11th to 13th of October 2019, at the Cabin of the Guild of Architecture.<\/p>\n

The event is going to be full of fun building and repairing works, cleaning of both indoor and outdoor areas and at evenings going to sauna, playing boardgames, hanging around and eating basically for free! Saturday is the main work day.

This fall, the sports committee organizes Healthyappro, during which nine different sports associations present themselves by organizing nine different sports events. These events will be organized starting from September and lasting until November and after every event, there will also be a possibility for the participants to hangout with the other participants and representatives of the sports associations and enjoy a warm sauna as well as free snacks! All these sports events are free and open for all the students of Aalto!<\/p>\n

ROBOT UPRISING 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
We would love to see you at Robot Uprising hackathon on 11 – 13.10.2019.<\/p>\n

Robot Uprising is a story driven robotics hackathon that takes place in Kattilahalli, Helsinki. We have tuned the whole venue into a techno dystopian alternate universe. Your goal is to build a robot and program it to survive through a large maze with as much automation as possible. You can add your own parts to your robot too so you are not limited to the kit provided by us.<\/p>\n

You don\u2019t need to have any special robotics experience, we will help and guide you through this fun filled hackathon! As our Track Automatisation specialist Perttu says; “Whatever your level is, Robot Uprising bumps you up one more!”<\/p>\n

Most schools give credits for participating in Robot Uprising too.<\/p>\n

To celebrate our 10-year journey AYY is launching a Product Concept Competition. We are searching for an Aalto student, whose vision would bring about a product, embodying our anniversary as well the Aalto Creativity. The winner of the competition will receive a prize worth of 500\u20ac, the second place 200\u20ac euros and the third 100\u20ac euros. In addition the winners will have the opportunity to discuss about selling the item via Aalto Shop. Competition last 16.9.-13.10. More information:<\/p>\n
