The applications for freshman Tutors is soon upon us, but before you apply, it would be good to find out what being a Tutor means: all the fun, but also the responsibility.
\nSo come to our Tutor-info session (On Monday 11.2 at 12.15 at the guildroom) to learn all there is to know about Tutoring and we will also answer any questions you may have about it.<\/p>\n

The Guild of Architecture hosts a workshop where we plan the Guild\u2019s budget for year 2019. Everyone is welcome to listen, ask and make wishes.<\/p>\n

Come spend a relaxed evening with ‘wine and sketching’.
\nThere will be three drawing tasks during the event. Bring your own pens and papers. In case you’ll forget them, don’t worry, you can borrow some.<\/p>\n

The house offers the wine, but if you feel really thirsty, bring your own drinks with you. However, the purpose of the event is to enjoy sketching in good company!<\/p>\n

Registration for the event opens on Wednesday 6.2 at 12 noon<\/p>\n

What if an art piece portraying the Arabia chimney was created in Otaniemi? Could the metro station be utilised to display student artworks? Should the AYY t-shirts be completely redesigned? What could Otaniemi Night of Arts look like this year?<\/p>\n

\n

What kinds of activities do you think the Student Union should organise in terms of the art field? Come around for a cup of coffee, to bounce around ideas and to discuss the subject. The best ideas may end up as realised projects, and participation is fully up to what you are interested in and have time for. All Aalto students are welcome at the event, which is held on Tuesday 26 Feb from 5 pm onwards in V\u00e4re, in the Working Caf\u00e9 opposite the Aalto University Shop between the building\u2019s M and L blocks.\u00a0Welcome!<\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n

ALLWELL? 2019<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
The study well-being questionnaire AllWell? will be sent again to all Aalto 2nd year bachelor\u2019s and 1st year master\u2019s students. Give us 15 minutes of your time \u2013 you will get personal feedback. The questionnaire will be available online from 6 Feb. to 20 Feb. 2019. Your response will remain completely anonymous.<\/p>\n

We will communicate the programme level results to the heads of the degree programmes. Development and improvement must be based on facts, and that is why your response is crucial! Within one month, you will get personal feedback with ideas on how to improve your study skills.<\/p>\n

The AllWell? project is a part of Aalto University’s strategy 2016\u20132020. The goal is to enhance student well-being by advancing the development of teaching, learning services and support for studies and better study skills.<\/p>\n

TRAIN AS A SECURITY OFFICER, AYY PAYS THE COSTS!<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n
AYY is organizing a Security Officer course. The training is held from the 1st to the 3rd and from the 8th to the 10th of March 2019. The course is free if you commit to working as a Security Officer in four (4) AYY events by the end of 2020. You can also take part to the Security Officer refresher course on 9th<\/sup>\u00a0and 10th<\/sup>\u00a0of March if there is room left on the basic course.<\/p>\n

The course will be held in Finnish.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n

The course has 15 slots and it\u2019s organized at Otaniemi. The signup opens on the 12th<\/sup>\u00a0of March at 12pm and closes on the 19th of March at 23:59pm or when the course is full.<\/u><\/u><\/span><\/p>\n
