What happens when abstract paintings are given musical form? Would you like to hear a real symphonic orchestra playing live? Or visit the Helsinki Music Centre, enjoy its architecture and find out, how good the acoustics really are? Or just relax and enjoy some beautiful, classical music?<\/p>\n

Now it\u2019s possible because the Guild of Architecture is organising a visit to the concert of the Helsinki Philharmonic Orchestra on November the 30th!<\/p>\n

Welcome to the Afterparty of W\u00e4h\u00e4joulu!<\/p>\n

This year, the afterparty and traditional night swim have been combined in to one great adventure in the waterpark Serena! You are welcome to join the afterparty even if you cannot join the main event.<\/p>\n

In the pools and saunas you can shrug off the dust of the party, and in the Luolamies -restaurant DJ Windows95Man will guarantee an epic rave!<\/p>\n

Buses will transport revelers from Otaniemi to Serena after the main event, and back throughout the night. The exact schedule of the buses will be posted later.<\/p>\n

A ticket costs 30\u20ac.<\/p>\n

EQUIPMENT<\/p>\n

You may swim with a swimsuit or nude. In the party area and lobby however you are required to wear clothes or a bathing suit.<\/p>\n

Midsummer comes along every summer, but the Village Christmas Party is only once a year!<\/p>\n

Campus Section and OtaHoas are organising the traditional Village Christmas Party on Friday 14 Dec at Rantasauna. The Village elves have magicked a tasty feast to be served with drinks and heated up the sauna for the guests. There will also be fun, Christmassy activities on location. We will also get to enjoy some beautiful live music from 8 pm onwards.<\/p>\n

\nThe Master’s Programme in Urban Studies and Planning (USP) is a joint study programme of the University of Helsinki and Aalto University. The programme prepares students to excel as professionals capable of understanding and addressing complex urban development challenges. Students gain a broad understanding of urban phenomena as well as practical experiences in collaborative and concrete situations. The programme offers several degree options from two universities:<\/p>\n

12 p.m.\u00a0 \u2013 1.30 p.m. open lecture Cyber hygiene- How to survive and be safe in the cyberspace? Best practices from cybersecurity students. The speakers are Kristiina Konno (from Estonia), and Andrew Roberts (from Australia) who are both first-year cybersecurity students.<\/p>\n

2 p.m. \u2013 3.30 p.m.\u00a0 open lecture Smart City: “How to connect cities digitally? The case of Finland and Estonia”. The speaker is Ralf-Martin Soe, a Research Fellow at the R. Nurkse Department of Innovation and Governance.<\/p>\n

Open lectures will be held at the Lumituuli auditorium and the fair will be open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
