Training for guild officials

The Guild of Architecture has started its activities with a new group of actives for year 2020. Therefore, the Guild organizes a training for the guild officials about communicating, organizing events etc. The training is open for all of the Guild’s officials, but it is particularly important for event organizers. There will be snacks!

It’s a new year finally! On Tuesday 28.1.2020 the Guilds of Architecture and Physics have a season-opener at OK20 big side. Doors open at 18. Sauna is hot throughout the evening, and there will also be some friendly competitions and general hype action!

Drinks are available for a small fee and some food will be served for the hungry ones.

So put on your fresh overalls and come hang out with the white-overall gang! 8-)

Secrets of Finnish Sauna Design: talk at Aalto University

Are you passionately into sauna? Then join a lecture on design of sauna organized by Polytechnic  Sauna Society and Saunologia on February 4th!
Lassi Liikkanen, Author of the new Finnish sauna design book and a docent of Product design at Aalto University, will have a public talk at Aalto Design Factory on Tuesday 4th of February at 5.30pm. His talk describes the most important design secrets around classic Finnish sauna, focusing mostly on three areas: heat, air quality, and interior design. The talk is based on his book, “Hyvien löylyjen salaisuus”.  The talk is held in English.

Interested in volleyball?

Aalto-Volley is looking for more players of every skill level and gender! It doesn’t matter if you are a beginner or a veteran, everyone is welcome. We organize open trainings through the week but we also have separate trainings for the more advanced players. Men also have the possibility to join and play men’s local series in our team.
